We work with small and mid-sized beverage suppliers across the United States who are ready to change that and get full value from VIP.

What We Do For Beverage Suppliers

We handle the VIP iDig and Karma work so you can focus on leading your brand, managing distributors, and coaching your sales team.

VIP iDig consulting built for beverage suppliers.

Custom VIP iDig reporting and analytics designed to show you which markets, distributors, and SKUs are really working—so you can set goals, push priorities, and act with confidence.

Karma CRM optimization that actually sticks.

We clean up Karma, build the right forms and dashboards, and train your team so field reps actually use it and leaders get reliable sales and activity data.

Clear answers from your distributor data.

We validate distributor sales and depletion data, build custom VIP iDig reports, and give you straightforward guidance on pricing, inventory velocity, and goals.

One consultant, one playbook.

No bouncing between vendors or guessing which report matters. You work directly with a single VIP consultant who ties reporting, Karma CRM, and sales strategy together.

Why Beverage Suppliers Choose Help For VIP

A generic consultant might know data but not the realities of beverage distribution. A software vendor might hand you logins and leave you on your own. A sales coach might talk strategy without ever opening VIP. Help For VIP is none of those things. We’re the partner who understands VIP iDig, Karma CRM, and the supplier–distributor world—and we stay in the details with you as you grow.

We know your world.

We understand how beverage alcohol suppliers use VIP across multiple states and distributors, and what it really takes to get clear, reliable reporting and KPIs out of it.

We stay with you.

Your reports, Karma setup, and KPIs get steady care, not a one-time project that drifts as your portfolio, markets, and distributors change over time.

We connect data to action.

Reporting, CRM, sales goals, pricing, and inventory are all handled together, so your team knows exactly what to do with the numbers in VIP and Karma each week.

Testimonials from businesses like yours

“Before Walter got involved, we didn’t have anyone in-house who could actually make sense of our VIP data — it just sat there. He cleaned up our entire SKU catalogue across 20 brands and got everything properly integrated, and almost overnight our reporting was accurate enough that I could have real conversations with our distributors instead of guessing. It probably saved me 40 hours a week, and I have no doubt it moved sales in the right direction too.”

Brian A.

“We’d been running reports our own way for years, and there was no consistency — you couldn’t compare one rep to another or one month to the next. Walter fixed that. He’s been with us since 2022, and at this point he’s not a vendor, he’s part of how we run the business — commission reports, rep goals, our Karma dashboards, all of it. When we’ve had to make hard calls, including letting a rep go, the data he provided is what gave us the confidence to do it.”

John Sans

“Our sales team had been using iDig for years and honestly had no idea how to get real value out of it. Walter came down to our sales meeting in San Diego and trained our whole team on Karma and iDig, and built us custom forms so reps could actually track their goals in the field. During one of the toughest 18-month stretches we’ve had, our sales still grew 20 to 25% — a lot of that came from the efficiency his work created.”

About Help For VIP

Every supplier we work with started the same way: someone bet on a beverage idea and then put in years of long days to make it real. Help For VIP began after seeing too many of those brands lose ground because their VIP tools were underused, not because their product was weak. Subscriptions that never paid off, reports that went unread, and sales teams flying blind in key markets.

That’s the gap we built Help For VIP to close. If a supplier is investing in VIP iDig and Karma, the data behind it should be working just as hard as they are. Every engagement we take on gets judged by one question: is this turning your VIP numbers into a simple playbook your team can follow? That’s the only measure of success that matters to the brands we serve.

Frequently Asked Questions About Working With Help For VIP.

What is VIP Help?

VIP Help is an independent consulting business that helps wine, beer, and spirits suppliers get real value out of the Vermont Information Processing (VIP) tools they already pay for, specifically the iDig reporting platform and Karma CRM. I provide the training, analysis, and hands-on management that VIP itself doesn’t offer.

Are you affiliated with Vermont Information Processing?

No. VIP Help is fully independent. I’m not a software vendor and I’m not selling new technology. I help you get a return on the VIP subscription you already have.

Who do you work with?

I work with small to mid-sized beverage alcohol suppliers, including wine, beer, and spirits brands. My best clients are founder-led or run by a small leadership team, don’t have a dedicated data person on staff, and sell through multiple states or distributors.

I work with beverage suppliers across the United States. Most of the work is done remotely, and I also provide in-person training, like the session I led for Purity Vodka’s sales team in San Diego.

What services do you offer?

My services include item catalog management, sales data validation and analysis, custom iDig (AI-assisted) and Karma reports, goal and commitment tracking, commission reporting, Karma CRM optimization and customization, field activity monitoring, forms and task creation, sales route maximization, pricing analysis, inventory velocity management, strategic planning, and iDig and Karma training for your team.

Why do I need help if my distributors already give me VIP access?

Most suppliers subscribe to VIP because their distributors require it, but iDig and Karma are built for people who already know what questions to ask. Without someone who knows the system, reports go unread, reps stop using the CRM, and pricing and inventory decisions get made on gut feel while the answers sit right there in your data.
